ETRM Modernization Is Moving Fast. Workflow Fragmentation Is Still Holding Firms Back.

A recent Molecule report, based on responses from more than 400 energy and commodities firms, found that 64% say their current ETRM systems do not fully support their processes or the range of commodities they trade.

For many firms, the issue is not a single system. It is the gaps between systems — the screen switching, manual re-keying, delayed context, and disconnected workflows that continue even after modernization projects are underway.
